Continue to Place Orders for Library Materials

Please continue to place orders for library materials (not journals). There are some remaining funds to be spent and if your department has orders in we might be able to purchase some of them. We'll hold on to the remaining orders you send over and just order them with your department's FY09 funds.

As of April 7, 2008, all published articles arising from direct NIH funds are to be submitted to PubMed Central within 12 months of date of publication. This, in turn, requires UMBC authors to take explicit measures in dealing with publishers, to retain sufficient rights under copyright law to make the required submissions. See http://publicaccess.nih.gov/ and contact the Office of Sponsored Programs or the Director of the Library for further information.
