New database added - ISI Journal Citation Report

The Library is pleased to announce the availability of the 2007 ISI Journal Citation Report. To access it, go to: http://isiknowledge.com/JCR
Or you can access it via Web of Knowledge. Once you are on the Web of Knowledge homepage, click the tab "additional resources" and you will see JCR listed. The JCR tracks 7,600 of the most important journals in the sciences and social sciences. With the data provided, researchers can use the JCR to help determine the most influential journals in their disciplines and which journals they should read.
Early editions are available in CD-ROM format at the reference desk in library.

For off-campus access, please use research port. Or you can login via VPN first (http://vpn.umbc.edu). Then follow the link under "News & Events" on the library homepage.
