After School Volunteers Need for Vision Foundation

The Vision Foundation supports leadership development for youth in Baltimore by engaging them in activities to develop their social skills, academic readiness, and ability to live healthy lifestyles. They work in partnership with three local schools to achieve this vision: the Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship, Dunbar Middle School, and the Alternative School of West Baltimore.

They are currently looking for Program Leader volunteers who will work with youth in this after-school program.

Under the direction of the Site Coordinator, the Program Leader (Volunteer) will provide assistance and tutoring to students in the after school program, and will lead engaging academic, enrichment, and recreation activities with groups of up to 20 students. Program Leaders will provide opportunities for students to develop & strengthen academic, physical, leadership and social skills. Volunteer Program Leaders work at The Vision Foundation, Inc. (VF) After School program sites (K-12).
