Short Description:
How to Structure a Good Information Security Program With-Out Breaking the Bank
There have been 47 reported data breaches at educational institutions so far this year. The number of sensitive records potentially compromised is set at 971,227.

People often think that establishing an information security program is a simple task. Read a book, create some policies, buy some software, install some hardware, and VOILA! – You have a security program. In the past you could get away with that but in today’s hostile environment you are setting yourself up for problems including a potential data breach.

An information security program takes thought, implementation, and many more activities to make it successful. Too many organizations focus on the wrong elements of a program and then wonder why the results aren’t what were hoped for.

Attend the JANUS Associates seminar entitled, How to Structure a Good Information Security Program With-Out Breaking the Bank, and learn how to structure a program designed to produce results as well as how to build in the components that will ensure success and limit the potential of a disastrous event.
