UMBC mourns the loss of Dr. Judith Shinogle
It is with great sadness that we report that Dr. Judith "Judy" Shinogle was killed in an automobile accident on May 20, 2012. She was a Senior Research Scientist at the Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis and Research, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Policy. Her death is a great loss to UMBC and the wider community. The UMBC community held a memorial service for Judy on June 26. We extend our deepest sympathies to her family and friends.
